Who we are

Formerly The Scarman Trust Manchester, we are now the Novas Scarman Group - Manchester.

We provide neighbourhood based support for new and small voluntary and community groups across the city of Manchester.

Groups with an annual income of less than £50,000 will be able to receive a range of free support services, aimed at helping groups to better deliver services for their local communities or communities of interest.

What we do

We are committed to working alongside you or your group, by listening to your needs and supporting you to reach your goals.

We offer support and guidance for you to make a difference to your communities, in the way you want.

We have access to local and national networks and resources enabling you to choose training in areas such as finance, planning, IT and management skills.

We can also help you find funding opportunities and support you through the application process.

Out on the Road
Novas Scarman Group Manchester roadshows

We are holding a series of roadshows across the city of Manchester in the next few months.

Roadshows will have a focus similar to a ‘one stop shop’ with partners, mini workshops, treasure trails and market stalls offering support and advice to community voluntary groups.
It will be an ideal opportunity for community voluntary groups to learn more about Novas Scarman Group Manchester and to meet the Manchester team including the development workers.
