Healthier Homes, Healthier Lives
What is ‘Healthy Homes’ Training?
Manchester Care & Repair are delivering a new training package aimed at front line staff in the health, social care and housing sections who visit older people in the homes. The training will raise awareness of the ways in which housing disrepairs can have a negative effect upon older people’s health and well being and to make the links to find out about the resources and home improvement services to enable them to make effective referrals.
