Manchester Event Volunteers Handbook - Download It Now!

Recently we produced a new Volunteer Handbook for Manchester Event Volunteers which you can download from the following link: www.mev.org.uk/community/documents/handbook

Hopefully, the handbook will let you and our volunteers know more about the service and answer many of those common questions. It's useful for new and established volunteers as it contains sections covering the following topics:

  1. Before You Start Volunteering - (specifically for new volunteers)
  2. Working at Events
  3. Useful Tips
  4. Useful Documents - (including our Equal Opportunities and Volunteer Reward and Recognition policies)

If after reading the document you would like to receive a postal copy, please contact the team on 0161 234 1532 and we can send one to you.

Also, you might want to make sure you keep your eye on our website at www.mev.org.uk. The site is updated on a regular basis and includes links to external training opportunities, job adverts and local activities or events which may be of interest to you.

By accessing the website you can request volunteers, see our event calendar, chat to other volunteers with our MEV Live service, upload your event photos and post messages in the Community Forums. You can also provide us with feedback on your experiences and the service you have received from MEV.

This can include telling us what we are doing well as well as providing us with constructive suggestions on how we can make the service better for you.
