Community Safety Department - Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service

The Community Safety department based in North Manchester can offer a wide range of free services.

We can deliver presentations to any groups within the community.
This includes Primary/Secondary schools, Youth Groups, Groups of Diversity, Care Workers, Older Groups, Special Needs Groups and basically any other people in the community who require any fire/ community safety information.

Regarding fire safety, we promote the free fitting of smoke detectors in domestic properties with a home fire risk assessment. We can deliver fire safety talks to discuss fire hazards in the home including escape plans.
These talks can range from 20 minutes to an hour using videos & literature.

We can offer car crime packages to talk about the dangers associated with stolen vehicles and also information for young inexperienced drivers. There are also many other subjects which can be covered.

We can deliver these presentations to any group at a time that is convenient to you.
(The feedback we receive about the sessions we have delivered is always very positive)
