Stockport Credit Union Vacancy - Volunteer Co-ordinator

Stockport Credit Union Limited is looking for someone who has been a volunteer themselves and knows the support needs of volunteers in a demanding project.

The Volunteer Co-ordinator will be very important to the Credit Union. They will be expected to recruit, train, support and retain volunteers, so that the volunteers are able to perform all the essential tasks which help the Credit Union to grow and develop.

The post is based at First House, Brinnington and is for 13 hours a week, which can be worked flexibly; the pay scale starts on point 22, Scale 5 (currently £19,285, pro-rata £6776, with pay re-evaluation pending).

The post is funded until March 31st 2011 and may be subject to Stockport Council’s job evaluation process.
