Manchester’s Schools Need Your Help!

14/03/2007

Should schools in Manchester make an effort to protect global resources, tackle Climate Change and help the next generation become more environmentally friendly? If you think the answer is yes, here is your opportunity to help.

Since 2004, EMERGE Recycling has provided free recycling collections and effective environmental education to over 150 schools (55,000 pupils and staff) in Manchester. Unfortunately our funding ends in March 07, so we are launching a ‘Sponsor a School’ campaign to bring schools and businesses together and help Manchester become more sustainable.

Businesses will be able to:

  • Involve themselves in a high profile campaign that supports their local community.
  • Assist Manchester’s schools to keep recycling.
  • Improve their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) outputs.
  • Tackle Climate Change by training their staff to reduce overheads and carbon emissions.
Depending on your chosen level of sponsorship, your business could receive the following in return:
  • Promotion opportunities through our website, publicity materials and events.
  • CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) information to use in your annual reports.
  • Training for your own staff on saving money by reducing your carbon footprint.
  • Posters & letters from pupils.
  • Our Sponsor a School newsletter.
  • Certificates of Sponsorship.
